Filo Machado - Canto Fatal (84) (Pointer)

Absolutelly Killer Modern soul Brasil grooves, sounds like the older post, Djavan or Tony Bizarro (81), I think this music scene there is much to discover, not only by the unique music, but some discs are extremely difficult (if not impossible) to get, well this is not the case, but it certainly is a great discovery. I chose first my favorite song "O Cao E O Vagabundo" simply an wonderful song, second it's one joyful song called "Venha Ate Minha Casa" and finally but not less great is the one "Buraco".

Junior Tucker - Take A Message - (80) (Tuff Gong)

Well very young performance and absolutely fantasctic groove, one of my favies period of the music, the begun of the 80's, everyday i surprice the sophisticaded sounds like this one; my favorite song is called like the self tittle album. Thanks to Jens For this one.

Richard Torrance - Anything's Possible (78) (Capitol)

In my opinion the best lp of this artist, is an mix between latin, aor, funk & soul rhythm. I love this period of music between 77 to 79 there is a lot of great music in this style, on this LP aren't the representative artist who we can find on the lp release in  1977 (Porcaros, David Hungate, Ernie Watts, etc). But without a doubt this guy show us the best style on this lp with the self tittle song and another nicely song "Be Bop 'N' Holla".

Family - The Key Of Love (80) (Milk & Honey)

This lp is totally CCM, similar style as imperials or David Meece, they use to call "Family three" but not  confuse with the group who made the lp "Somewhere in Your Heart". This is the best lp of this Group, contain one awesome funky aor song called like the self tittle album, and another mellow christian lovely song called "Harmony".

David Baroni - All For The Glory Of God (82) (Majestic)

Terrible CCM and Modern Soul much better than his 83 lp bring us 2 bombs one "Follow Him" and the original song "Isn't It Just Like Jesus" that after Paul Beasley put unto his lp from 83.

John Brennan - St. (82) (Radio Canada International)

When i listen for the first time on an Japanese seller, i stay in schock, i couldn't believe that still missing some awesomes Aor songs, so much sophisticaded like the song "So Exciting", sounds  like Jerry Corbetta, the Earlier Tim Sheppard or any cool Westcoast Musician, sadly i'm looking for the LP it's one of my wanted and it is expensive a lot!!!.

Horizon - Let me Be The One (84) (Budweiser)

For those who like awesomes songs like "Santana - Hold On", here is an killer Funky song from the Showdown Serie, the A side of the EP "Let Me Be The One", one of the most fantastic funky that i listened recently simply an mega killer song!!!

Martin Nievera - The Best Gift (84) (Sunshine)

An Very Nice Modern Soul Bring us this actor from Phillipines (like Gary Valenciano) very rare, sounds between Funk songs like "I don't Care" and mellow ballards like "Each Day With You".

Kathy Troccoli - Heart & Soul (86) (Reunion)

Another CCM lp with a lot of Modern Soul inside very nice performances like Dan Huff, Keith Thomas, Ernie Watts, Michael W.Smith, etc. Produced By Brown Bannister (CCM on the top), Bring us one lovely aor song called "Yes And Know" and another Pop Funk Called "Long Distance Letter". All songs are good enough for listen the whole lp, and this in on the similar category as "Pete Carlson", "Michael James Murphy", "Kelly Willard", "Jim Schmidt", "Michael Peterson" and many but many others...

Danny Deardorff - Chameleon (81) (Maiden Voyage)

From The 70's Group "Deardorff & Joseph" and with the same Aor Mellow style this "Danny Deardorff" bring us an wanted aor lp with an lovely song called "Teach Me To Dance", this lp is dedicated to his wife...

Djavan - Luz (82) (Sony)

This is my favorite artist from the Brazilian scene for the moment, i'm still looking for rare artists from this awesome Style. Well the most killer song is performance by Stevie Wonder on harmonic, Ernie Watts on saxophone, Ronnie Foster on Keyboards and many others.  The song is called "Samurai", one of my favorites of all simply an masterpiece!!

Joni Mitchell - Dog Eat Dog (85) (Geffen)

This LP is not hard to find at all but it worthwhile to mention to it. I think everyone knows about this artist and his 70's music, this time bring an awesome song called "Good Friends", duet with Michael Mcdonald, show us an typical Westcoast song very amazing and away from her typically charasteristic, must be for the lot of supports that she has on his lp starting with Michael Landau, Luke, Kazu Matsui, Alex Acuña, Amy Holland and many but many others.

Leon Haines Band - I Wanna See You Know (81) (Maristone)

This is simple, i love to see when aor style is accompanied with a touch of funky. This band originaly from Netherland has an bigger hit called like the same tittle album, however is not my favorite song at all, the first track called "Another Clown" is an test of fantastic Jazz & Funk style with sophisticaded atmosphere and another song called "Dance A Little Closer" is trully an contagious rhythm very good, sounds a bit of rock but this band is considered Jazz Style.
